StockX

A market, not a storefront

StockX, UX100 leader in E-Commerce

StockX presents a product the way a market does: a bid, an ask, and a record of what it last sold for. Shopping becomes a decision you can see.

Visit StockX

Design

The product page is a price chart first. Size, history, and authenticity sit around that number instead of burying it in a gallery.

Impact

Sneakers, watches, and collectibles got a shared language of price. Buyers and sellers meet on the same screen.

How it works

You bid or buy now. The item goes through verification, then to you. The status of that handoff stays visible.

Why it won

E-commerce UX usually pretends inventory is infinite. StockX won by designing the scarcity, and the trust around it.

Journal

The case above is the record. The blog has a separate essay for each year StockX led E-Commerce.
