Hopper treats a fare as something that moves. You watch a trip, freeze a price, and decide when the number is worth it. The booking is the last step, not the first screen.

The watch is a quiet object: a route, a date, a price that rises and falls. Freeze and buy are separate actions, so looking is not the same as committing.
Impact
Travelers stopped refreshing a tab to see if a flight had moved. The product made the wait into the interface.
How it works
Search a trip, leave it on a watch, and get told when the fare changes. Freeze holds the price. Buy happens when you say so.
Why it won
Travel UX in 2026 still opened on a wall of fares. Hopper won by designing the decision that comes before the purchase.
